Kettle remix ideology is to maintain availablility of previous work by re-releasing material of a shorter length inducing a `fading' effect as recordings subsequently disappear distilled to the essense of the orginal performances.

The project was designed as a way of artists collaborating over long distances.
Each artist records either, a collection of samples for the other to compose with; a remix the other artists previous work; or a bed or background for the other artist to record over. In the U.G.K. Project, the later was chosen with the artist completing the work naming the track and both agreeing to the title of the release.
