Donna Hewitt's work involves re-processing microphone captured audio via various digital processes to produce complex musical textures. Her composition Dysphonia ('the neurological spasm of the vocal cords'), explores the nexus and border regions between the natural and modified voice. Recently she has been exploring real time digital performance systems, custom interfaces in object/patcher environments and developing an alternate controller called the eMic (Extended Mic-stand Interface Controller).

Drummer/percussionist/composer Will Guthrie has been a vital and energetic force on the Australian improvised music scene for the best part of 10 years. His unique and highly personal approach has led him to play, tour and record with many of Australia's leading contemporary improvising musicians here and overseas, as well as being involved in numerous multi-arts projects including dance, film, theatre and puppetry. He often plays home-made instruments, found and junk alongside more conventional drums and cymbals as
well as electronics.

Julian Knowles' practice draws heavily on the transformation of location audio and is informed by film sound practices, electro-acoustic, acousmatic and concrete musics and contemporary popular music production techniques, resulting in a personalised sonic language which is exploratory, yet recognises its roots in historical traditions. It challenges the arbitrary distinctions between sound, noise and music and attempts to reveal the inherent musicality in so-called non-musical materials. Julian has undertaken a number of tours through the USA, the UK, Korea and Australasia and his music works is released internationally via Extreme Records.
