Attention Spanner - Playing acoustic piano (Mike Gorman) and acoustic drum kit (Steve Harris), Attention Spanner approach the creating of improvised sound with the full commitment to all sonic possibilities in the moment, and in the given situation. This prevents any easy description or categorisation of musical process; indeed, this itself indicates the openness both these artists bring to their performances. Intense instrumentation for deep listening.

The Slippery Roger - Solo electro-punk cabaret artist. Since emerging in 1999 the Slippery Roger has continued his inane attempts to conquer the world of popular music with absurd compositions that have all the melodic spasticity of a bad porn soundtrack. With help from Paul Cushworth (video) and Mads Haahr (arrangement), his SBB performance is a random arrangement based on digitised recordings of atmospheric noise from an untuned radio frequency.

SonicViz (Paul Cohen) is currently researching applications, soundtoys, and weird widgets at the convergence of gestural, audio and visual modes of perception and interaction. His SBB performance explores the concept of audio-visual instruments through a number of experimental avenues such as software driven by a penpad gestural interface and extending traditional instruments into the audio-visual domain. Harmonica, shakuhachi and slide guitar with digital effects and visualisations.
